Abstract Submission
The UAFP cordially invites you to submit an abstract in research, clinical quality project, or theoretical/conceptual format to be considered for poster presentation at the 2021 UAFP Annual Member Meeting on Friday, September 17, 2021.* The poster session will be held on that evening from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. Cash prize awarded to the winner.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Submission Deadline
Materials must be received by UAFP by August 13, 2021. No extensions will be granted.
Submission Format
All abstracts, not to exceed one page, are to be submitted online below.
Abstract Selection and Notification
The UAFP Member Engagement Committee will meet in August 2021 to select abstracts and finalize the session program. If your abstract is accepted for presentation, you will be notified by email on or around August 23, 2021 of your acceptance. This notice is sent to the contact person/presenting author for each poster submission. If the study has more than one author, the contact person is asked to share the information with the other author(s).
Conference Registration
If accepted, presenters are required to pay the applicable registration fee of $25 no later than Tuesday, August 31, 2021. This fee is transferable if there is a change in presenter. Once the abstract has been accepted and the fee paid, it is non-refundable. Link to pay fee will be provided to presenters when they are notified of their acceptance.

Please note: Only those submissions in compliance with the instructions will be reviewed. All completed applications received by 11:59 PM MDT on August 13, 2021 will be independently reviewed by the Member Engagement Committee. Selection of abstracts for presentation at the Annual Meeting will be based on scientific merit.
*If public safety or other circumstances do not allow for us to meet in-person, the poster session will be moved to an online format.
